To list items for sale on bidorbuy is free. A fee is only charged if you successfully conclude a transaction.  After first having registered as a buyer, go to the Sell an Item page.  You will be given two options to become a seller namely basic or advanced. To activate your basic seller status is very easy – all you have to do is accept the terms and you can then list auction or buy now items for sale immediately.

If you would like to make use of some of the advanced selling options available you will need to register as an advanced seller, which involves entering a guaranteed form of payment (either Kenyan bank details or credit card). At the time of registering as a seller bidorbuy will attempt to debit R10 from your chosen payment method, which is credited back to your bidorbuy account and can be used towards your future bidorbuy fees. This is done to confirm your payment details should you incur any fees from bidorbuy.

Most categories on bidorbuy do not incur any fees to list an item however a percentage (between 1% and 5%) is charged for successful sales. This means you can list items with no risk. There are exceptions for some special options and categories however you will always be clearly warned of any fees you will be charged upon confirming any items you list. See our Fee Rate Card for a break down of all our charges. Find out more about registering as a seller.
